The first big party with Count Basie's legendary Big Band, George Gee & the Make-Believe Ballroom Orchestra, a dance show with the Rhythm Hot Shots and a presentation of the Lindy Hop - you won't be able to sit still!

"Gessnerallee" Festival CenterThe "Gessnerallee" theater is the heart of Swing City: This is where pulse of Swing will be beating all week long.
At the Festival Center, the "Gessnerallee" theater's entrance hall, participants can purchase festival passes and foreign visitors can also receive any necessary information. In addition, this is also where those interested in learning the Lindy Hop can enroll in courses. The courses will be held in the rehearsal rooms of the theater and in the "Schauspiel Akademie" (Acting Academy) directly opposite.
The big, old "Reithalle" will be transformed into a ballroom with the incomparable atmosphere of the Savoy Ballroom (Harlem, New York) where, every night, everyone meets for the gigantic parties with dance shows and Swing concerts par excellence. A live orchestra will be playing until 3:00 a.m., inviting everyone to Swing along, dancers and listeners alike.
